‪Your challenges!

• Supervise and coach the logistics team
• Support other departments in meeting their goals and play a pivotal role in your area
• Manage incoming shipments by various transportation companies
• Follow up on and prepare invoices for outgoing shipments
• Anticipate and solve problems while minimizing business disruptions (delays, schedules and rates)
• Help plan the production schedule based on orders received, delivery times and equipment capabilities
• Implement measures and create a cohesive work environment among logistics and shipping staff to ensure operations run smoothly
• Respond and adapt to changing priorities and operations in order to seize new business opportunities
• Develop and keep updated customer key performance indicators
• Document and analyze operational processes
• Participate in continuous improvement projects (TI 4.0, Kaizen)

 

What we’re looking for

• Operations and logistics management certificate
• Supervisory experience
• Production planning, production control and project management experience
• Knowledge of the transportation industry and procurement strategy
• Knowledge of integrated management software
• Fluency in French and English
